Charlotte Tempe McCulley was born in May 1880/2 in Union County, Illinois. She is the daughter of Alexander and Delia (Lewis) McCulley.
In the 1900 Census she is 18 years old and living with her family in Saratoga, Union County, Illinois.
In 1904 she married William H Prewitt in Union County, Illinois.
In the 1910 Census she is living with William and her two sons in the township of Cache, Johnson County, Illinois. This document states that she has been married 6 years (since 1904) and two sons, Delbert (1905) and Lonnie (1908) came from this marriage. Her husband is a farmer and she keeps house. (note: it states her age is 22 which I believe is off my 6-8 years)
In the 1920 Census she is living in the Stokes Precinct, Union County, Illinois with her family. Her husband is still a farmer and she is keeping house. They have added three children to their family. (note: again I believe her age is off by 6-8 years)

Charlotte McCulley Prewitt died October 4, 1929 in Union County, Illinois. She is buried in Casper Cemetery, Union County, Illinois.
