Sarah Lewis

Sarah Lewis was born about 1845 in Illinois. She was the daughter of Levi and Charlotte "Lottie" (Oxford) Lewis.

I only have 2 documents for her.

In the 1850 Census she is 5 years old living with her family in District 2, Union County, Illinois.

She is listed as a heir in her father's Probate Record in 1856.

She is not found with her family after 1856. This leads me to believe that she died between the years 1856 and 1860. She might have married at the young age of 15. If she did, she had passed away by the year 1900, per the statement her mother made in the 1900 census.
