William Lewis

William Lewis was born in the early 1850's  (1851-1854) in Union County, Illinois. He was the son of Levi and Charlotte "Lottie" (Oxford) Lewis.

He is listed as an heir in his father's 1856 Probate Record.

In the 1860 Census he is living with his family in Township 12, Union County, Illinois.

In the 1870 Census he is living with his family in Stokes, Union County, Illinois.

On July 30, 1876 he marries Jennie Wilson in Union County, Illinois.

In the 1880 Census William and Jennie are found living in Stokes, Union County, Illinois.

In the 1920 Census he is still living in Anna, Union County, Illinois with his Jennie and Glee.

In the 1930 Census I find his wife living with his daughter, Ida, in Mattoon, Coles County, Illinois. The Illinois Death Database list the following:
