Chester Alonza Carr was the son of Nancy Catherine Bell and Thomas Jefferson Carr. He was born on April 8, 1868 in Pope County, Illinois.
In the Census 1880 he lived with his family in Monroe, Pope County, Illinois.
On June 2, 1892 he married Georgia Yates in Saline County, Illinois.
Their children were as follows:
Claire born 1897
Lloyd born 1901
Loren 1905
In the 1900 and 1910 Census his family lived in Mountain Home, Baxter County, Arkansas.
In the 1920 and 1930 Census his family lived in Carbondale, Jackson County, Illinois.
Chester died on August 3, 1935 in Carbondale, Jackson County, Illinois.

Chester is buried in Old Grand Pier Cemetery, Pope County, Illinois beside Georgia.
